Comment:

Very easy to learn. If youre doing online make sure your internet doesnt go wacky and lose your assignments. Great with communication through e-mails. Pay attention to the projects to turn in and stay on track. Most assignments are longer than others.

Mr. Harris was a pleasure to work with. His class format wasn't bad at all. You'll have 10 assignments and 10 quizzes. The book is a must have. He sets "due dates" but if you go past on an assignment, it doesn't matter. This class is "work at your own pace" with everything due a week before finals week. 100% would take again

He has the perfect introductory video, so From day one you know what you have to do and what he expect that is perfect for online class. if you have question you can go a head and watch the video so you don' even have 2email or call. He doesn't grade the assignment on time but as long as I did what I've 2do I don't mind, he can take his time.

With this being an online class, I didn't interact with him much. However, he seems nice enough. The course was laid out well, and I found the notes on his site helpful. As far as the material goes, it was interesting and useful. The only thing I didn't like was that he didn't grade any of my assignments until the end of the semester.

Doesn't respond to important emails for 2 weeks. Didn't grade anything the whole semester, last thing he graded was in the first week of February. The semester is now over, Blackboard has made all my Spring semester classes unavailable, so even if he does decide to grade assignments, there's no way for me to see them.

I took micro computer applications and it was a fast paced but easy course. His notes have the quiz answers outlined for you. All you have to do is pay attention when taking notes. This was VERY easy

Learned a lot. He is very clear. Some people waited til end of semester to do asmts and the disappeared. Don't do that. He was very clear that everything was due the last day of regular classes, not day before finals. You can complete this class halfway thru semester. Everything is up a beginning. Asmts do take some time to do.

Some of the assignments take hours to do and in the end, you only get 3 points for hours of work. He never responds to emails in a timely manner, usually 4+ days. Ridiculous for an online class. Never again.

It's not hard, but it's a bit of work. Some of the assignments at the end were tough. Well, just the Access building of an entire database (Assignment 9). Of the 10 projects, I probably spent an equal amount of time on Assignment 9 as I did on Assignments 1-8 and 10. The quizzes are tricky, but they are open bookopen notes.

I took this class online and it was one of the easier classes. He opens up all the assignments and quizzes at the beginning of the semester. As long as you do them you will do fine. He responds to emails quickly & helps when he can. No reason why you can't make an A in his class. I plan on taking one of his other classes in the Spring

His assignments are all over the place and there is way too much work for the homework to only be worth 3 points.... Also, he said the quizzes are supposed to go with the homework assignments but the quizzes are all over the place. The assignment may be on chapter 1 of Excel but he has questions from chapter 2 and 3. I will not take him again

Pretty easy class as long as you keep up with the weekly assignments and tests. At one part, I accidentally submitted the wrong assignment and he wouldn't let me resubmit the correct assignment which was super aggravating. But he was a good teacher with thorough notes and videos.

Prof Harris was a great teacher. I had is class online and it was very useful for my current job. I also love how he puts all the assignments out there and they just need to be done by the end of the semester. It's great for people who like to work ahead. Would definitely recommend his class.

He is a nice teacher, but doesn't teach the material well at all. He gives out TOO much work that are only worth 3 points. He did a bad job teaching the Excel portion, I was confused the whole time. The quizzes don't relate to the assignments at all. Overall, I was very dis-satisfied.

Took online..Extremely nice & helpful. Very quick to respond if help is needed. Expectations were extremely clear & fair & were laid out from day one of the course. Follow directions & there is no excuse for a bad grade. Strongly recommend & would definitely take again..more courses/teachers should be like this one!
