Comment:

Best math professor I've had. He's organized, uses class time well, and gives amazing lectures. Daily worksheets we did as a class, homework for each section but nothing time consuming, 2 quizzes, midterm, and final. He's clear about what to expect on tests and is generous with allowed notes. Everything is weighted fairly evenly. Nice, funny guy.

Extremely helpful, always open to questions. Writes very fast, hard to keep up with notes and comprehending the material at the same time but he posts his notes on moodle which is great if you miss class or can't keep up with him writing the notes.

Great teacher, very helpful, funny, and awesome at explaining things. His exams are straight forward. He doesn't try to trick or throw you off. But his grading on tests is EXTREMELY difficult. Misnotation or small errors can cost you the entire test. Be careful. But his class is fun and livable.

Very challenging professor. He is intelligent and knows the material. He gives decent lectures, but his tests are ludicrously difficult. He once said, "These tests are a chance for you to demonstrate your brilliance." That is all very well and good, but a test is just an instrument of measurement on whether we learned the material, not puzzles.

Knows the material, can't break it down for students well. Requires strong math knowledge to do well. When I visited during office hours, he snapped at me for not exhausting his online notes and the book before I visited. But was helpful when I asked for it.

I think he's hands down the WORST math teacher I have EVER had! He's unorganized and scattered,the lectures make no sense, no help outside of class.Online Math is required, but it's not updated the entire time to show when assignments will be due, so you can't plan ahead or organize yourself. And BAM you look the next day and it's late. Frustrated

Hard subject but a good teacher that takes lots of time to explain concepts. If the class is falling behind on homework, he's pretty good about pushing back due dates in order for everyone to get it done. Very personable and entertaining. Enjoyed the class, as much as you can for Calculus.

he is an awsome professor. Is very willing to help if you ask for it. If you are struggling with the material go see him during office hours. Gives practice tests prior to midterms. No suprises if you show up for lectures. Those who show up for lectures do very well; those who don't.....complain.

Challenging, Fair, Helpful, and Kind. I have taken several upper division classes with Hamid -- if you ask questions in class, don't get behind, take good notes, do and *fully understand* (ask questions until you do!) all assigned/suggested homework, and don't make excuses -- you will not have any problems.

Hes very helpful, and I found him to be a fine teacher. His classes, however, are not easy. You have to do background reading before your classes because he does go rather quickly through the material, but he's thorough and if you go by his office hours he will help you through anything you dont understand. Dont expect him to stop class for you tho

He is a some what nice guy but he complains alot at students for prevoius teacher mistakes. Not everyone had a teacher that expected you to not use a calculator at all. Vary hard because his language barrier makes you not ask for help from him because you couldnt understand him the first time.
