Poor communication, poor instruction, yet still high expectations. This could have been a great, informative class but instruction time was used for the instructor to brag about previous business accomplishments. How is this supposed to help me be a better student?? Grading expectations were completely unrealistic- give clear instructions!

Sitko is not a very good teacher. He is not very helpful, before during or after an assignment. It is hard to do homework because he does not tell you clearly what it is. I got a good grade in this class only becuase I was lucky. People that deserved a good grade were not so lucky. Be careful before you take his class...

Honestly the worst professor ever. All he did in class was brag about how he was some big CEO back in the day. I will never take one of his classes again. Never responds to emails and he is not helpful at all. Just terrible! Do yourselves a favor and get another professor for college 101. It will be well worth it. Its a 3 credit class hank..

Hank Sitko is a fantastic professor, and lays out the ground rules for making a great film. He knows what works and what doesn't for captivating an audience, in terms of zooms, effects, transitions, etc. He knows people in the film industry and has inspired me to take on filming a comedy sketch series as a side project while I'm still in college.

He keeps the class moving. For a Coll 101 class it is interesting. He's energetic has real life work experience. Many students blow this class off and do not do the work hoping to get a C. If you don't do the work you will not get a good grade. Keep up the GREAT work Sitko

Sitko is a bit of a challenge, not hard, but not at all easy. Some of the assignments were confusing and lots of group work with members of the class who obviously did not want to be there which made it stressful at times, a lot of work for 3 credits, I have heard that some of the other teachers offer easier col 101 courses, so maybe try another.

He reads off his Power Points making it very boring. He knows his stuff though. he gives a quiz and essay every week. the quiz's are ten questions, but the chapter to be quized on is like 50 pages long, so you don't know what to focus on for the quiz. i had fun in the class but it wasn't relaxing what so ever. he brags about ppl he knows. annoying

Hank is a cool guy, but he's an awful cinema teacher. He uses power points that other teachers made and reads off of them making class a total bore. He makes writing assignments and quizzes far too difficult. He lost several of my papers and refused to regrade them, accusing me of trying to cheat. I ended up getting a D because of his laziness.
