Not a very good teacher....probably my worst so far here....he is terrible at explaining things, but then again, this class is totally useless in the first place. He always does lectures, which is terrible for a 1 1/2 hour class...very difficult to get an A on anything...doesn't feel very approachable to me.

Not a hard professor, you can get A in his class if you study. He is prepared and kinda knows what he teaches, but not very quick in answering questions in class, unlike Zhu. As said below, he lets favoritism and feelings towards individuals effect the academic sphere (read: if he likes you, you will get good grade, and vice versa)

Sometimes quite unclear about what he wants for an assignment. Also quite unclear in his comments on returned assignments. Sometimes LOCKS THE DOOR at the start of class: late=absent. Overall, a good instructor but lets his mood and problems affect his classes...

hjt is a pretty cool dude. once you get used to his accent and his corny sense of humor class is a breeze. never any hw for gateway except for the readings. only real work is the papers, which are pretty easy to get b's on. overall a good guy.
