Comment:

Tons of work in very little time. You do a HUGE project throughout the course and if you turn ANYTHING in late you get 0 no matter how important it is. My group project was 55 pages and a 30min slideshow and didnt do super good for the amount of time spent on the project. Lectures are fun but the smaller assignments are work 5 but make an impact.

Gives a lot of work in a little time, pretty unrealistic to be able to keep up with course. Requires his own written text book, then doesn't have any assignments for his text book and copies pages from a different book where we have to read online on the computer- very inconvenient. unable to highlight, etc.

He is the best professor I have ever had in my entire undergrad and masters years. To all students that will have the opportunity to be taught by Professor Steenhuis, take advantage of the brilliant mind and the knowledge he has to offer. Trust me you will learn a lot and you will be happy with the results.

This instructor is terrible, he will single handily destroy your GPA and even states in class that grades are not important. He never lectures or does anything in class so the tests are near impossible to study for. Do not take OPSM or any class from him. Take an online class before you even think about taking a class with him.

Makes you do the hw before each class but doesn't collect any of it. 3 gradebook grades (2 tests, one service assignment). doesn't go over how to do the math in class, expects you to know. the service assignment gives little direction. this class was so hard. he's willing to help but doesn't teach enough to know the concepts

He is such a hard teacher. Has a service assignment with little direction and expects you to write in a certain style. His tests test on chapter concepts that he does not teach on. This class basically sucks. Don't do it. You will spend so many hours doing homework he never collects but expects to be done. Too much stress for one class.

Steenhuis is SO hard. I don't recommend this class to anyone. Nice that a 2.0 is only a 55% but his service assignment comes out of no where and his tests have a bunch of concepts from the book we never even learned about. Anytime he mentions something out of the book, concepts, write it down, it'll be on the test.

He is hard. That being said if you can do math and show up to class, no reason you can't pass. He expects the student to work, that is what college is about. Best teacher in my opinion because he expects you to be a grown up. Do the work.

You can't take his word for anything, just read the book all of it. Both tests are on the text and he does not teach the text. You have a group project worth 50% of grade. Don't miss class he makes you pay. He does not want to be a teacher and it shows. He is only here as part of his research for another university in his home country (Netherlands)

This class is a complete waste of time and money. It's a shame that it is required. The description of the course is deceiving. His arrogance interferes with him teaching effectively. He gives advice and then criticizes students for taking it. No feedback throughout the quarter and no assigned chapters in the text book.

This guy is out to kill your GPA and prove how smart he really is. My class of about 60 had the lowest GPA of any class I have been in. He gives you a "GROUP" business simulation that will make or break your grade. If you delay making the correct changes on your simulations, you will have no chance to recover. 1st time or YOUR GRADE IS SCREWED

Not too difficult if you are at least somewhat intelligent. Just listen to his boring lectures and go to tutorial and you will be fine. Don’t be stupid and you'll get a good grade.
