I took Human Adjustment some time ago with Professor Siegel. It was a great course but it's definitely not for the feeble minded. He comes up against loads of resistance from students unwilling to look at themselves authentically and too lazy to try. He can be a bit abrasive at times and unwilling to hear another side of an argument though.

Really weird professor. All he does is lecture the entire time. A lot of the stuff is really interesting. Get to make a cheat sheet for the midterm and final which really helps. Show up to class, take notes, and you will get an A.

he is an absolute nut. the class is called human adjustment- in other words you sit in a circle with the class and its group therapy, you see who can talk**** about who. You wind up absolutly frustrated at the end of every class. It is a garenteed A but very annoying. All you have to do is show up everyday so you dont get talked about.

You guys are a bunch of cry babies. He is a little weird, however, if you ask questions of this professor and "appear" interested he will like you. I got an "A" even though my grades weren't the greatest. I showed up for every class, did the extra assignments and showed interest in the class.

He's really, really, really BORING!!!!! He talks throughout the whole class. The one thing I can sa that will help you in this class is to take excellent notes. Everything he says you better write down. On the midterm you can bring a cheat sheet and also on the final. And his exams are really on what he thinks and not really the book.

He is "fundamentally" quirky. "Fundamentally" he tells you he doesn't have an attendance policy and when you "fundamentally" get a 90 on his quizzes but don't show up to 3 classes you "fundamentally" get a C. "Fundamentally" speaking he isn't the greatest teacher but he isn't the worst. "Fundamentally"

It's not a structured class we sit in a group. You may think this is easy but it's not, be prepared to be annoyed and frustrated all through out the semester. You also get to do a paper at the end after a whole semester of written work so not sure if it's worth it unless you're a Psych major.
