Dr. Whipple is great. A sweet and hilarious grandma type. I will warn that lectures are pretty boring, and you definitely need to study for tests. However, if you're taking Freshman Bio, she's the way to go.

Comment:

Whipple was definitely one of my favorites at GCSU. She is very kind and offers multiple chances to receive a good grade in the class. Tests can be tricky but if you thoroughly read the chapters you'll do just fine. Her final is a take home final you get the first week of class and is an easy A! I would highly recommend her as a professor.

Kind, funny, old, grandma-like professor. She's hilarious. Don't skip all the time but you don't always have to attend. Tests are difficult but she curves a bit. Final is easy automatic 100. Definitely would recommend. Easy A or B if you put just a bit of effort in. Sweet, nice old woman.

Sweet lady. She basically gives you the test material in the class period beforehand. Then the "final exam" is super easy to complete. Got an A when I was least expecting it! She takes attendance sometimes but it doesn't affect your grade, but I would recommend attending class as much as possible.

She is probably the easiest teacher. The tests are super hard but she curves. Her lectures take up the whole class time and usually don't help at all. She tells you what will be on the test but all of it is worded differently. If you work with her she will NOT fail you. The final is community service and gives everyone 100s on it.

Boring lectures, reads straight from textbook. Tests are all multiple choice but extremely difficult, questions are not always clear and often there are multiple correct answers to pick from. Only way I made an A is the final is service hours and writing a few papers instead of an exam.

Dr. Whipple is a great teacher. Her test isn't a cakewalk, I believe you have to study them after review sessions. If you study for her test, you will do well. I got a low B average on my test, but I took my community service exam serious (it was very long) and ended up with an A as my final grade. Great teacher, I would recommend her.

Whipple is fabulous! She is the sweetest old woman and makes the class laugh a lot. 3 tests and a final community service project (which she just skims). You don't need the book but it helps. You do have to study for the tests but she usually gives 5 bonus points. Not a very hard class at all!

She is a sweet old lady. She does use the book alot but she goes along with the book. She reviews the day before the test which is great!! it really helps! I made note cards which worked best for me. She does get off subject easily. the exam is a volunteer thing and i completely lied on mine. I would take her again

Take her!!!!!! Three tests and a final community service project. I don't think she writes her own tests, but the day before the test she literally reads you the questions off of it. Make notecards, study them in order, and you'll know the entire test. I highly recommend her. She's such a sweet lady that cares a lot about her students.

Take this teacher for Biological Processes!! SO EASY! The final is a community service project that she doesn't even read, so you automatically get a 100. You have to study on your own and teach yourself from the book bc her notes do not help you for the test, but the day before the test she tells you EXACTLY whats on it. EASY!

Mrs. Whipple class is fairly easy. She gets off topic ALL the time...which can sometimes be frustrating because then we end up in class for the whole 1hr and 15mins. When she is teaching...it's kind of boring but it is what's on the text and its directly from the book. I would recommend her.

SO EASY! i made an A. test are usually over 1 or 2 chapters and are straight from the book. shes hilarious, really goofy. there's no final, but you have to write like 3 one-page papers instead (automatic 100 on the papers). DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TAKING HER IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AN EASY A.

I took her for biologicaL processes... shes pretty easy. My mom told me to take her because my mom had her when she was in college. I had fun in here, i really liked the way she had service hours instead of a final.
