Comment:
Professor Blaise's class should be relatively easy, but he always makes it difficult to get an A by adding in random questions on quizzes and tests that he barely mentioned in the lectures. Overall the quizzes and tests are simple. Just know everything on the slides.

I absolutely loved him! While the powerpoint presentations are very simple (on the verge of boring), he was very clear on quizzes and exams. If you go to the class and learn the power point slides, you will do amazing in the class. He is always free outside of class, and he goes off on some of the cutest tangents. A little monotonous, but worth it

I'm only not swearing because it says it will be deleted if i do. This guy didn't care about me and made the class incredibly boring and ineffective. The seminars are supposed to be a fun way to learn how to write, he made it drag on and would often mess up pronunciations and words so he would say the opposite of what he meant. avoid at all costs.

Blaise was terrible. Once upon a time he knew what he was talking about when he wrote his lecture powerpoints, which was probably about ten years ago. However, he only looks at them once a year which is in the lecture he is using them for. Completely unreliable for questions and can also be an unfair grader. Can't believe he has tenure.

Had him for Neural Engineering, a class I was thrilled to be taking but he absolutely ruined it. He simply reads off ancient powerpoints (often with patently false information) and his exam questions come out of left field. Avoid at all costs.

Guy makes the mentor do all the correcting and editing, then throws a grade on the paper based on your personality, gender and his current mood. Tell you what he really doesn't like male athletes who speak their mind.

Was in his seminar class, Decade of the Brain. It was supposed to teach us how to go through the college process, how to write college level papers, etc. He expected college level papers before teach us how to write such, he graded very harshly and gave us more homework than all of my other classes combined. Made my 1st semester of college hell.

A great guy, just not a great teacher. Kind of schizophrenic grader: sometimes he'll throw out good grades, sometimes he'll grade very harshly. Makes a lot of mistakes during class. Smart man, but has some difficulty thinking on his feet if the class wanders away from his pre-planned lectures.

This professor is terrible. He seems to have little to knowledge of the subject he is teaching, as he was never any help if I did not understand some of the subject matter.
