Can be a little unorganized and off the wall, but unlike other professors with the same qualities, you learn from him. He teaches unlike a lot of professors do these days, and he wants you to know something, not to memorize. Funny as hell, and a good guy.

Dr. Schutte is by far my favorite professor. Not only does his diverse experience in the field add to his awesome examples in class, but it spreads your knowledge as one of his students, too. He's a great professor, and HE PUTS TESTS ONLINE! Our midterm we have the option to take it online AND in class. You'll never regret taking his course!!!!!!!!

Great professor!! Willing to help as long as you are honest. Makes class intresting by applied his own expirences with material. He goes over what you need to know before each test. Book not madatory, but extremely helpful when studying. You should buy it.

He makes genetics easy to understand. I wouldn't have taken it with any other professor. The only disadvantage of having Schutte is that he is falling apart and is not very reliable for making it to class. He's a crazy guy, though, and makes class fun!

This class kinda sucks, but Schutte makes it totally awesome! The subject matter is totally blech,if you're not a bio major, but Harry makes taking the class a lot easier, with the online tests and quizzes. He misses a lot, so that's fun! All you really need to do is read the book to pass the class.

This guy is hilarious. He realizes that most of the people in his class arent biology majors so he trys to be as specific and clear as possible. He is just so funny. The other day he made sure all the guys in the room knew were the **** was on a diagram.

i love HARRY! he is incredible intelligent and makes biology fascinating for all of us non-bios majors! tests can be tricky though, but he always offers a ton of help. he is notorious for "recycling" his questions throughout the quarter.

I think Schutte is still my favorite prof at OU. The class was actually entertaining and enjoyable to be in. He did cancel class a lot, and didn't drag on for the entire 50 minutes. I enjoyed it immensely. Schutte was great!
