Dr. Wilson is a nice guy. He repeats himself a lot but his lectures are extremely informative. He lets each student present for a whole class on a chapter of the textbook which was pretty nerve wracking but really not that bad looking back. My big complaint is that I was being given "B's" for what I considered "A" work.

Definitely a great teacher as long as you go to class and pay attention during lectures, though this may be hard because his lectures tend to be dry and he often goes on tangents and repeats himself.

Absolutely terrible professor. Boring! He never shuts up and about 90% of what he says is highly opinionated, liberal garbage. Docks your grade for the sake of docking grades! Good luck avoiding him if you're a CJ major since this course is a mandatory waste of your time!

Dr. Wilson, while meaning well, is a horrible teacher. He repeats everything 20 times using different examples and is very redundant. I have always been interested in politics, but I dreaded going to class. I will never take a class with Dr. Wilson again if possible.

Research Methods with Dr. Wilson was HORRIBLE! Don't get me wrong, he is extremely smart and knows what he is doing. But he is extremely dry and boring, goes off on random tangents in every class, is very unwilling to provide help outside of class and you can't understand anything he is trying to teach you. I didn't learn anything from this man.

The material covered in Research Methods is not easy. In my experience Dr. Wilson got very irritated and rolled his eyes when I approached him for help outside of class. I strongly urge you to take Research Methods with someone else. There are much better professors at Roanoke College.

Dr. Wilson is a genuinely nice professor that knows a lot about research and does his best to make a boring topic interesting. Although he can go off on tangents at times they are always interesting and applicable to the class. He is also willing to help if you have trouble understanding the material. He deserves more respect than he receives.

holy sh-oot me in the face is this class boring...he's a published author..so is paris hilton.Really.I mean if you really are into some dude verbally wandering around for an hour and a half, sign up. Get ready to feign laughter when he cracks his 170th consecutive bad joke and you both make eye contact,and your all alone.Hope your into # models!

He may be a little boring in class but overall not too bad. Doesn't take attendance but all test questions come from his lecture notes, so go to class. only 3 tests are your grades, so not much room to mess up. But just show up and try not to fall asleep while he rambles and you'll have an A

Love the classes, learned alot, DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR 102! He does not like that class. Any other upper class however, he is great in and will work to make sure you are learning and your grades are good!
