I took his ATTN Psy class. Harvey was one of my best instructors. He is/was always willing to help me. He cares what his students are doing, and where they are going in life. If I didn't understand something he was more than willing to answer my questions, and see me after class too. Excellent teacher!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER - Came late to class every day, spoke in monotone and took attendance. Expects students to consistently check news on Carmen and his notes consistently do not match up with his lecture. Patronized a student for asking what to study for an exam. Anything he mentions in class while you're sleeping or note in the book is included.

His lectures were unorganized and though some of the experiments were quite clever, he sucks the life out of the material. The tests were difficult multiple choice which was inappropriate for the material. He is also terrible on committees (masters, candidacy, etc.) because he isn't up on the literature and glares at you during the entire defense.

Not a great instructor. Not that helpful, hard to understand. Has extremely high expectations with little understandable lecturing. Even his texts are difficult to understand. Exams are very difficult. Most did very poorly in our class.

worst prof ive ever had. agonizingly boring, extremely unclear, unprofessional (late everyday. monotone/ horrible lectures, hard tests, and homework almost every weekend-- for a 4 cr class?!? TAKE WITH ANOTHER INSTRUCTOR AT ALL COSTS

I just took it and it wasn't that bad. The class was pretty boring, but honestly, the tests were very easy, and you can find all the anwers on textbook or lecture. Moreover, he even had many bonus points for unannounced quiz. So it is an easy course.

Boring. Very difficult and picky multiple choice tests. Tons of material presented in a boring fashion. Part of grade was attendance, so you were forced to go to this awful drawn out class. Did not make any effort to make material interesting. Hated it.
