A truly caring and inspirational man. I had the privilege of attending EDLS 100 with Harvey in the fall term of 2007 or 2008, and still think back on it regularly. His passion and commitment have continued to drive my career through teaching and now administration at another NY college.

Got about 2 weeks notice that he was teaching our class. Came in and did a great job. Your expected to write a daily journal, for the most part that's basically all the homework. Really helps prepare you to be a teacher

By far the best teacher I have had in many years. He always was there to talk to his students that needed help with anything, even if it wasnt school work. If you did the requirements in the class you passed with flying colors. I had an 8am class and did not miss one day. I loved every second of it and did not mind waking up early to seeing him

he is a wonderful teacher! he has been teaching forever and he is so helpful- you get coffee and cocoa duing ever clsss. and if you need help he will help you. he tells a ton of storied that you know will happen to you when you become a teacher, and he tell you how to overcome this situations. the stuff i learn in this class i know will help me!

I had him for Developing a Positive Self Concept during summer session. The class is one week long from 9-4 and it never seemed like it lasted that long. We were always engaging in activites and becoming a family as a class. Its one of the first classes I've taken in a long time that I was actually sad to leave. I think I could have learned a lot more from Harvey. What a great man!

Harvey is the nicest and most sincere professor on campus. If you ever have any kinds of trouble he is there to help you. I admit that his class had a whole lot less to do with teaching and a whole lot more to do with life. Great man, okay class.

I felt that this class was a complete waste of my time and he didn't teach at all. he ultimately let me to change my major for education because his lack of teaching skills didn't teach the prerequisits for going into the core of the education major. DON'T TAKE HIM, MAKE HIM STAY RETIRED!!!!
