WARNING: This class is NOT easy and should be avoided by non-econ majors at all cost. Seriously, the tests are ridiculously hard and he never lets you review them. The extra credit is confusing and tedious (which makes it not worth the 5 points). The material seems straightforward, but the tests aren't - bottom line - avoid this stressful class.

Genuinely interested in helping students learn. He shows students what it's like to be in a class where you need to show interest and in return you get as much help as you need. Incredibly informative and applies all teachings to real life events.

Well...he only gives men A's, and you are required to visit him during his office hours for credit. If you have class during his office hours, tough luck, you'll just have to skip or not receive credit.

He was a good teacher. He does care about his students and he is very passionate about economics. His textbook, though riddled with the occasional grammatical error was easy to understand and didn't mess around with sounding politically correct - but real and useful. He is sometimes difficult to understand but he types it all out. - Take it.

By far, the worst teacher I have ever had. He is very hard to understand and makes grammatical errors on tests that make the difference between an A and a B. He never answers questions and sometimes will flat out ignore you. When he does listen, he does not let you finish and assumes he knows the answer. Not compassionate or understanding-dont take

Waste of money. Teacher seriously needs to take an english class; I consider myself pretty understanding of english-learners... Hassan can be understood to a point in person, but on the exams his grammer mistakes will land you with an F instead of an A. He also loves to try and scare the students and over-exagerates.Don't take what he says as fact!

He produces his own material and expects you to go from a lack of understanding to complete comprehension from it. He rarely answers questions and occasionally will just tell you that you are wrong. His style is completely cavolier and uncaring.

I can't say what I learned in this class either- it was a bunch of equations. The material was rushed through. When I didn't understand anything I schedule an office meeting, he would just tell me I was wrong and that I need to think about it. He does everything in his power to help his students, but he lacks the patience to be of any help.

Do not, I repeat do not take economics from this teacher. His self-published "book" is riddled with formatting, spelling and factual errors which greatly calls into question the material being presented. His lectures and in class projects are not much better either and even though I received an A in this class I can't tell you what I learned.

It's really difficult to get past his accent, but all around he's a really good teacher. Communication can sometimes get tangled, but he's always willing to go the extra mile to help you understand. Pet peeves: he'll pause before finishing a sentence expecting you to finish it & he never lets me finish my questions!

His class was definitely hard but the biggest issue I had with him was that he never really answered questions in a manner that seemed to encourage learning. If a student didn't know something he sort of got frustrated and told them to "look in the book, my friend", that's not what he's paid to do.
