I thought this class sounded vey interesting prior to taking it, and I was a bit disappointed. The class content in lectures did not transition/flow well. Remember to take notes while watching documentaries in class, it will help you on the midterm and final exam. When you do the group project remember to use many different scholars resources.

Have nothing bad to say about this prof. She makes the class feel very comfortable and is extremely approachabe. She wants all her students to succeed, and teaches using a variey different of activities. Highly recommend taking her class.

very intelligent, approachable and respectful. whoever said she is 'ultra-conservative' is just judging her on her appearance - she is very socially progressive and open-minded. my favourite prof at sfu.

first time i had her i hated the class, very dry and uninteresting. for 311, i liked her more, but it was a class that i enjoyed attending, but not doing the work for. don't know if that reflects on her or me, though.
