She is an amazing person and cares for her students so much. In the beginning she seems really crazy, but as you open up and get to know her more she truly is an amazing person. She grades mostly on effort so if you put the effort in you will have good grades. If she sees you're really trying she will help you improve your grades.

Comment:

Seriously hating taking her class again but was the only English class open. Her class is so confusing, she's confusing, she gives horrible grades on papers no matter what. Tells you that she knows you can write better. Not a lot of assignments so rewriting is necessary to get a decent grade. She's nice, but worst class ever. DON'T TAKE IT.

Nice person but horrible teacher. Makes you feel like you're doing great, but in reality you're probably failing. It's almost impossible to get a perfect grade on her assignments with the harsh grading that she does. She tries to make you work like crazy, but in reality it was a 101 class, it shouldn't have been as difficult as she made it.

She told me she lowers grades to make people work harder. So I was almost failing because she was under the assumption that good papers just fell out of my ass and that I didnt try at all. Eventually I just started REALLY popping essays out in half an hour intervals and I wound up getting better grades. Go figure.

Her class felt like 5th grade all over again. She gives low grades on the first few papers for no other reason than "so you'll want to keep working hard." But she'll balance it out toward the end of the semester. Her grades really have nothing to do with your actual ability. You'll learn nothing.
