Dr. Bai is an excellent educator and truly is an amazing person (very wise, but incredibly humble!). I did not expect much from this class, but my journey in EDUC 230 was transformational. I really love the concept of living curriculum that she implemented, and definitely look forward to taking more classes with her in the future.

Heesoon is a lovely person who prompts you to examine who you are and how you teach. She is kind and doesn't seem to be caught up in the competitive biting edge of graduate studies. However, her assigned readings were interesting but light. I received no feedback for the major assignment but still got an A. I really don't think she read it.

Very interesting course. Most people will take this course as a "GPA Booster" but will actually make you re-consider your education. Very thought provoking. Definitely made me more interested in taking another EDUC course

Amazing professor. She doesn't teach in a boring style like most students are used to. She teaches to educate people, to get them to think critically, and to really question the nature of true education. All her classes are awesome. She's also extremely helpful, just busy. Go to her office and talk to her, she is so caring about her students.

DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE ONLINE!!! Hee Soon Bai is an awesome prof. in person. Lectures are interesting and engaging. Course is easy and breaks are plentiful. You do not need to read anything and all assignments are opinion based. We were actually instructed not to study for the final because she didn't want to stress us out; it was easy.
