Professor Storl was great. I truly enjoyed having her as a teacher. She encourages questions and loves having conversations with her students to hear what they think. She does not call on you if you do not want to be called on.

If you are new to ethics or philosophy, Storl is the teacher for you. Quizzes are difficult, but not impossible if you do the readings. Super approachable during and after class. If the students are passionate about something, she will let us get a bit off topic in order to discuss it.

I have a lot of respect for this professor. She is absolutely brilliant. The material is extremely difficult. However, the professor is extremely busy outside of class and spreads herself too thin. I'd say she doesn't have enough time for students outside of class.

Dr. Storl is the only philosophy teacher that didn't try to shove their personal views down the classes throat. She welcomed the discussion of all different view points and encouraged us to think for ourselves. The tests were hard but if you write an thoughtful paper you can make up for it.

The class was really hard, since it comes down to the quizzes you take. The class struggled as a whole to get better grades. Even though it was tough, she was a very good teacher. The topics we discussed in class were very interesting. I wish I would have taken the class during an easier term.

Very, very hard. She is a genius, though, absolutely brilliant (I wouldn't recommend trying to argue with her - don't get me wrong, she won't think badly of you for it, but you WILL lose :-)) Take her classes and you'll learn a LOT, but take her in an easy term when you don't have much else to do.
