She was a great teacher. I found the material to be challenging but not impossible, and she made it as interesting as possible. She sometimes gave us tedious homework that seemed like busywork, but for the most part it wasn't bad and if I had to take any computer science class again, I'd definitely take it with her. She's really helpful and caring!

She's awesome. She's also way understanding. One of the other reviewers for the CIS 507 class was upset because she expects you to have a background in CIS. It's a graduate level course in Computer Science. What did the genius expect? She's really understanding and works with everyone. She's great.

There are way too many questions and not enough teachers to go around to help. She should get an aid in the class. She expects that everyone has a background in computer information systems and i do not, therefore i am struggling. She tells me ''this should be easy'', well it isn't and i am not getting enough help.

The material is pretty tough but Helen explains it the best she can. The tests are equally as tough and so are the projects. The upside: She's a really easy grader. Do all your work and pay attention in class and you're basically guarenteed a B. She's also HUGE on partial credit- write anything and you'll get 75% credit -- or more.

She is a nice teacehr and all, but sometimes she isnt that clear on her tests. Otherw wise it was a pretty good class. All you have to do is try and she will pretty much pass you. But the portfolio does suck alot.

very helpful in class. homework is easy and don't have to kill yourself over details on projects. as long as you try she'll pass you. tests are somewhat difficult, however.
