this class is ok. most theo classes suck. i do like that she gives you all the material for the exams (10 ids and 2 essays on exams) 2 exams 1 final. and 1 project/paper. but don't be fooled this requires a lot of studying and her notes are all over the place. attendance is mandatory b/c that is where you get the info for tests.

I am so glad I followed everyone's comments! She's the best!!!!! I am so glad I took this class with her because I learned a lot and enjoyed having her as a professor. Her lectures are so nicely structured and she teaches everything very clearly. I love how she builds class discussion into her lessons too. TAKE HER!!!

Go to class, PARTICIPATE, write 3 GOOD ESSAYS and GET A. Don't participate and get A-. Really EASY class if you like to participate in class. There are 3 essays (TAKE HOME) based off book and packet. If you don't take notes, you will be fine too. So yea ... Take class, participate, get A and BOOST your GPA. :)

Okay. Great teacher. Knows her stuff extremely well. Always wants to help. If you go to class she will give you the A. BUT don't take advantage she will get you! Test are straight forward. This class should've been called women in Christianity because that's all that you focus on. If you go to class and take great notes, the papers are a breeze. There are no exams, just 4 papers, which are also pretty easy. The class is somewhat bias towards a Christian point of view, and there isn't much room for personal reflection/thought.

very nice and helpful. just go to class and take notes. I didn't even buy any of the books for this class and still got an A on my midterm. Just take notes, ask questions if you're confused. she definantly works with you when it comes to your grade, she really cares about how well you do as long as you show you care yourself.

She is a great professor. Go to her lectures and write down her notes. She goes over all of the readings, so you really don't have read if you pay attention in class. And then just write the papers based off the notes and you will definately get an A. She doesn't give anything lower then a B-/C+ on the papers either. There are no exams. GREAT Prof!

This class was awesome and extremely though-provoking. I didn't know Orthodoxy could be so, dare I say it, interesting. She has a lot of Greek pride, which I think is funny. Also, don't listen to these fools, get the book. Citing information from the book is the difference between a B+ and a solid A. Unless you aim for mediocrity.
