omg! not only is she a horrible teacher she is awfully rude! For a first year course she makes it too difficult (even for french emersion students!) Disorganized & no help. she has no understanding for people w/little experince in french!oya!she told me that going to my uncle's funeral wasn't an excuse to miss her class? get another prof people!!!

Um, not enough evaluation, only a midterm and a final. She doesn't give the greatest notes but she is a great person. She really tries and she will help you if you ask her to. I dunno, shes not the greatest teacher but she is such a nice person it makes up for it.

I cannot stress enough that if you are a first year student wanting to take french, DO NOT get in this profs class!!! Totally unorganized method of teaching! You will come out more confused then you did when entering her class! Stay Away!!! Aim for Arlene MCcan!

French is tough, what can you do about it? The whole dept is a little wessed up, its not her fault. I liked her, she is friendly and helpful. The only prof ever who remembered me after on one semester,3 years later People need to take better notes and stop saying she is all over the place with them

Nobody who is doing french for the second language credits should have her. Without a question the least organized and unprepared proff I ever had. I had stats and chemistry profs who quite literaly could speak 100 words of English that were better than he.

She is interesting to say the least. The course is not hard, and she is a fair marker...she just can't teach well. If you don't know much french before entering the course, I suggest you get a different prof! Very UNORGANIZED NOTES - allll over the place - it was hard to stay on track with her..

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROF!!!! She is a very nice person but her notes are all over the place. She is not a very orgainized perosn. She knows French very well but she just don't know how to teach it. Plus only one test, it's hard to keep a mark up when she only gives one test.... STAY AWAY!!!

classes were long and boring. Very nice prof but very disorganized and only gives one exam which doesn't help keep marks up at all. Not an overly hard course but is made a bit harder in the way she teaches it and gives notes.

AVOID HER. Seriously. She is absolutely the most disorganized professor I've ever had -- I could probably teach myself the course better than she can. A very nice lady, but that's hardly any consolation. I ignored the bad reviews here and now I feel like I'm on very shaky ground French-wise.
