Henrie is else. Two months after the course started we had not gotten any further than the first week of class content according to the syllabus. She is regularly late for class. Her slides and other documents are completely disorganized, and there are often slides with paragraphs of text making her extremely hard to follow in class. Racist to FN!

what could have been a good class was completely lost in her organization and ability to stay on topic. She is extremely opinionated and lets that cloud fact. She gets mad at the class if they collectively Do poorly on an exam. Avoid her at all costs!

Horrible horrible. Spent the first part of the semester is a group project that they only marks were for a self evaluation of how much you participated out of 5. So left at th end of the semester with no time left. Unorganized in lectures and always 5 minutes late. Things on the exams that were not touched on in lectures and very rude to students.

Very unorganized and rushed lectures. Talks so fast that she forgets to change her slides constantly, so she just skips it. Horrid study guides consist of 3 or four lines stating "read these slides". Gets mad at the Entire class for failing. Avoid at all costs

Hendrika started off okay, as did her class. End of term rolls around and she decided to not put her notes online anymore and gave us a long study guide of things not discussed in class for our final. Over half the class emailed her saying we were confused and felt unprepared. She replied back to me saying she refused to reply to my claims. Salty.

Hendrika is amazing! Her lectures don't fit the "norm" but they are very engaging. You either like her style or you don't. She is awesome for extra help though. She is super understanding of struggles and is so eager to help. Assignments can definitely bump your grade. Last assignment is either art piece, musical, drama skit or teaching a class.

You have to study. Don't have to show up. Don't use textbook. I really enjoyed this class. The content was new to me and Henrie was clearly passionate about it. I especially enjoyed her skill at directing class discussions in such a large classroom. She uses the slides as study guide - helpful! - Not a GPA booster, you have to work for A's -

Very nice woman outside of class. Inside class, not so much. Very unorganized, you never know what's going to be on her tests, asks the most useless questions and gets mad (extremely) at the ENTIRE class for failing? Very unprofessional. Do not take nas 1000 from this lady

She knows a lot of things, but find it very hard to follow her as she jumps from one thing to the next. Expects a lot out of her students, and assignments are not always clear. I would try and avoid her classes if you can.

Comment:

Very nice women. I felt that sometimes she treated her opinions as facts. In one of our readings the author estimated that up to 4% of humans were born ****s. Hendrika used 4% as a fact.. 1 in 2000 is much more realistic. To some degree I felt that her passion blinded her from a full understanding of the different perspectives.

Henri knows everything about everything. Her classes are hard, as are her exams but sometimes a good education isn't just about the grade. Her passion for the subject inspired me to pick the major I did.

She is an all around great prof; super friendly, easy to listen to, approachable and knowledgeable. You don't need to go to class every day but it is worth it just to listen to her speak, this is a prof who really knows her stuff!

Hendrika is a fantastic professor. She might just know everything. Seriously, she is that smart. Also very enjoyable, easy to follow and pay attention to. Extremely helpful and friendly. She is a top notch professor.

Comment:

She is a very smart woman, she is willing to teach NAS issues outside of the southern Alberta border which is very refreshing. Her classes are not a walk in the park they require alot of work but they are the classes that you will learn the most from.
