Dr Hagedoorn is one of the best professors at UCF. When I was there he was Undergrad Chair and for those of you who don't use Mathcad I fell sorry for you. Mathcad is King, maybe mathematica. Hagedoorn is Great, My way or the Highway ha ha ha

Well, if you ask him a question he will most likely not answer it, but beat around the bush for 10 min. Uses MathCad way too much, thinks it can replace him actually teaching. Only teaches during test review. Future students don't need to worry about him, he is retiring after this semester.

Ok, as bad as this sounds, suck up to him. He pretty much gives you the grade he feels like. He is a really good teacher if you actually try to learn, but don't expect to learn a lot from him. The tests are a pain in the butt, I failed them all, except the final, and got an A.

This class was a joke. I don't know what the lecture component was for..looks? He is the king of tangents and making students fall asleep. You don't need the lecture to make an A in class if you attend the Labs every week. That's where the real learning is...unless you like to hear about the old day

Be sure to attend lecture, even though it is at 7:30 in the AM. He gives "pop-quizzes" which consist of either drawing a square or writing your name on a piece of paper; these quizzes account for 10 points added onto your final grade.

HORRIBLE class! This prof is so boring. He rambles constantly. He doesn't make his expectations clear. His tests are hard and he gives ridiculous quizzes every lecture. USE A STRAIGHTEDGE for them! He never mentioned it, but apparently that's why I was failing the quizzes every week!
