Comment:

This class revolves entirely around a packet of lecture notes. Lectures are extremely dry and not worth going to; Kermott simply reads aloud the notes verbatim. Exams deal solely with the lecture notes, the textbook is only needed for pictures. That said, if you can memorize dozens of pages of raw facts, the class is quite easy.

Comment:

Anatomy's hard regardless, and I did like that he gave us all the lecture notes. However, he's super boring in lecture and his tests are very hard, even with multiple choice.

Class is extremely difficult--he gives you pages upon pages that you need to memorize or you will not do well. Not at all helpful during office hours. Very hands-off when it comes to lab, leaving you unsure what to study. Basically, study hours/day or do poorly.

Kermott is very dry in lecture, but he gives you a packet of his lecture notes, so all you have to do is show up and write in anything important he adds. For exams, you just memorize everything in there and scan the book and you will be fine. It was a great class simply for content, I would recommend it to anyone

Anat and Phys was easy. Be sure to study the old tests and the lecture packet that he gives you. THAT IS WHAT HE TESTS YOU ON. DO NOT waste your time on the book. He tests on his notes and diagrams only!

Lazy professor- stands up in front of the class and reads straight from pre-printed lecture notes. Lectures are not worth going to. Labs always get out early. Tests can be tricky, especially because it's hard to tell what he's going to focus on.

He gives you a pre-printed packet of his lecture notes and tests straight from it which is great. He also puts copies of previous tests in the Sci. Lib. for you to go over. A lot of the questions on the previous test are the same as on the actual tests, so I recommend doing that. Labs are great.

I liked having Prof. Kermott as a teacher! His notes were easy to follow and he tested straight from the class notes. He is very fair and knowledgeable about the topic. The labs are laid back and fun and he is very nice. My only complaint was that he grades the class on a curve.

Lectures are quite dry and in-depth. He isn't very ambitious; lecture notes are full of mistakes he hasn't bothered to fix and material covered in past classes but not taught at present. He just doesn't bother to alter them, the same is true of tests. As a result some students find copies of old tests. This ruins the curve for those who don't cheat

I really enjoyed having Prof Kermott. He provided us with a set of lecture notes and he tested directly from those notes. He was very straight forward and helpful if you asked any questions. His labs were really fun too.
