Worst teacher I have ever had in my life. I got an A but learned nothing. Professor Lopez was unprepared to teach every lecture. I found it insulting in fact to sit in class as he clearly did not take time to reflect on his lessons. They were all over the place and not focused on subject matter. If you care about learning don't take Prof Lopez

This class was a joke. I'm a Poly Sci major and I didn't learn a thing. However, the class is an easy A. You may not learn the subject matter but it will boost your GPA. He never takes roll, rarely lectures and when he does it's extremely redundant. If you have a genuine interest in Poly Sci I wouldn't ruin your ambition by taking this course.

Pretty lousy professor overall. He's a nice guy but his lectures were ridiculously repetitive and at times incomprehensible. But if you want an easy "A" and don't care too much about actually learning the material, then he is the professor for you. His curves are generous so as long as you read the book you'll be alright.

i guess he used to be an easy teacher but i just had him this semester and he made our lives a living hell. no clear at all. his tests are extremely hard. don't bother going to class because it's no use. the class was full in the beginning but by the end of the semester more than half had dropped. don't mess up you GPA by taking this class !!!!!!!!

Nice guy. Easy A. No homework. Attendance not mandatory. Lots of hot chicks in the class. What more could you ask for? A forewarning though, don't bother trying to take notes; he likes to doodle incomprehensible nonsense on the board and you'll soon learn that trying to follow his diagrams is futile. Be sure to show up 1 class before the exams.

I would totally recommend this guy! He loves what he teaches and it makes the class very interesting. I am not a big history buff or anything and I LOVE THIS CLASS! Take NOTES and study a bit from the book and u got an A! He tells u pretty much exactly what is on there! Take him..u'll love him!

Very easy tests, although his lectures are pointless and involve lots of him drawing shapes on the board. I spent the class period in the back of the class reading the textbook for the test, which is what the test is based on. I learned from the book, not the prof, and got an A.

Nice guy. Funny. Only takes attendace on test days (3 days). To show up or not is ur choice. Always gives a review the session before a test, in which he practically tells you what to study out of the book. Do what he says and ace his test. I barely took any notes, just do what i did and get an easy A.

Easy class, he curves to ur benefit.He has 3 tests that consist of a model(same one on all 3 test), multiple choice Questions (usually about 40 problems), and then some essay from a topic. Its an easy class. You can take his test end up with a B-, but the curve will give you an A. His lectures are pointless at times tho.Easy class to pass tho.
