Comment:

Tests are very difficult but the homework is easy . Forget about taking notes from the board, you won't be able to read them. Also, bring a computer to class to type your notes because he is inconsiderate on how quickly he speaks on the material.

Show up for class. If you miss more than 3 lectures, he eliminates your chance to have a curve (which IS needed). He will assign papers about every other week, but they are short and I always made high scores on them as long as I provided resources and made a great point. Study for the exams, they're tough! Took a lot of time to study for them.

The professor is incredibly smart and sometimes witty. You can only miss class 3 times before you are off the curve and his test are ridiculously hard (curve is usually 14-20 points) BUY THE BOOK. He will answer any questions you have clearly and precisely. Overall a really fun class.

Great teacher, makes class very interesting. Come to class! Don't miss unless you absolutely have to, because he gives great curves on tests if you miss less than 3 days. Awesome class, I recommend him.

I've had Mannle almost every year since 2008 so here is a breakdown. Attendance = Come or don't get on the curve (needed) after 3 absences, Material = Lots of note taking and hard tests. Mannle is very interesting and at times can be funny with his jokes. Pay attention and attend class and you will not regret taking him.

Mannle is a good professor. He test are hard and he gets satisfaction by haveing the hardest tests at tech, but he does give a curve as long as you don't miss more than 3 days. His class is fun and interesting. I have taken two of his classes would take another one.

Had him for criminology this semester. He knows a lot, and is a good teacher. Come to class or else!! He curves big time if you don't miss class. His tests are pretty hard. You get most Fridays off though, but you get an assignment (easy). Take him only if you plan to study. He is pretty funny too, so class is not too boring.

I loved this class! Don't miss more than 3 days. I looked forward to going because he always made lecture interesting. The tests are hard, but if you go to class and read the book you should be fine. Make sure you TAKE GOOD NOTES, they will help with the tests. If you get off the curve, drop the class because the curve saves your grade.

Dr. Mannle is perhaps the best college professor I've ever had. His lectures are interesting, but you will need to write down everything he says. His lectures are organized well to make studying easy. If you miss less than 3 days, you will be on the curve for the tests which could be as much as 20 points. His tests are relatively difficult.

GREAT PROFESSOR! Very legit and knows what he is talking about. Be prepared to take notes because almost everything he talks about will be on the exams. Papers are very managable if you are responsible. His stories are very interesting and quite funny. One of my favorite professors I have had in college by far.

I absolutely LOVED this class. One of my favorite classes at Tech. He knows his stuff and keeps it extremely interesting. I loved going to class everyday. The tests are beyond HORRIBLE to the point where you feel like you died when you finish. GO TO CLASS, STAY ON THE CURVE, WRITE EVERYTHING HE SAYS AND READ EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK HE ASSIGNS!!

Wonderful teacher!!! Take all the notes you can and read the assigned readings for the tests.Don't miss class more than three times in order to stay on the curve for the tests, because you'll prob still need the points from it.Overall, difficult tests but you learn a lot in his class. I look forward to taking more of his classes. :)

Love, Love, Love Mannle. He is so awesome and knowledgable in the field of criminal jutice/law. You will learn so much from him. Best advice-go to class...do not miss. Get ready to take lots of notes. One of the best professors that TTU has to offer!

Comment:

Ignore people who couldn't be bothered to take decent notes or see him after class. Mannle tought fabulously and gave anyone who tried to learn and participate a good grade at the end of the semester. Incredibly difficult class, but he warned you the first day.

Mandatory attendance to stay on the curve (and you won't pass without it). 3 tests for this class, the second being the most difficult with just over 100 cases to learn. The first and last tests require novels to be read (highly recommended that you do). Great lectures, but be prepared to work for your grade.
