Sometimes boring, but he's a great guy with real passion for his subject and a ton of background knowledge. He expects a lot but his demands aren't unreasonable, and he's forgiving about due dates. He also sounds like Johnny Cash, which is pretty cool.

This guy is a firecracker. So enthusiastic about his subjects. American Architecture with him was a lot of fun. About 7 short essays on different styles, no exams. We went on a field trip to New Haven as our "final" to look at really great historical buildings there. Wear your good walking shoes. A really great teacher and class.

Class is pretty boring, but Janick is the man. About 13 quizzes on readings from ERES and two 3 page papers and two 2 page papers on the book. Fairly easy, but boring. Id take both of Janick's classes because hes just that dam good.

He loves to teach and it shows. He is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. It will be a sad day at WestConn when he really does retire. I have really learned something in this class, which is more than some I have taken at WCSU.
