Two exams (although they're very fair and there are extensive reviews) For multiple choice portion, study the book, for essays, study the class notes. But there's the 20-25 pg research/fieldwork paper. Alot of people don't like this and its unfair for a sophomore (more a senior-level assignment). She's very condescending and always late to class.

Good professor but has many downfalls. Very dependent on class participation so if you don't read tetbooks, don't have opinions on current events, don't like to raise your hand make sure to get a seat in the back. She gives two hard tests and not enough of a review. Gives a 25 page term paper. THIS IS NOT A GRAD LVL. CLASS! You will bust you ass!

Great professor. Their is one long paper and two tests. The format she gives for the paper makes it easy to complete. She explains everything and pushes you. The tests are fair as long as you read the text. The tests are multiple choice, fill-in and an essay question. If you put in effort you cant fail.

I just dropped this class. To be fair, I wouldn't know how exactly good is the professor. However, the class requires 2 exams AND a 25 page essay (that's not a typo), it is certainly overwhelming and discouraging especially if you're working full time w/ 3 other classes. Make sure you will devote time before committing to this class.

If you do the work, you are fine. Yes, her tests are difficult but if you do the reading and use common sense you will pass (and you don't have to sit in the front row and kiss her A** for that). I did not sit in the front row, picked a good paper to do research on and received a very good grade (a-). Do the work...it's not a free ride.

Very unapproachable. You must read the book or else. Tests are very hard and confusing and she doesnt give much help of what to study. Classes get more interesting after midterm. Very sarcastic. Can be cool but is too obnoxious. Fave saying "your in college now" I am an A student and did not get an A in her class. Totally dread her class

This professor has to be by far one of the worst professors in johny jay college. She gives smart remarks that are very rude. She is a hard grader and gives a 15 page paper with and accumilitive final (mad hard) and the only kids that pass are the kids that suck up. Stay away from this lady.
