The class was impossible if you don't have a background in music, because she will hand out a 6 page review for a 3 page test, and half the stuff on the test wasnt on the review. If you're not a band kid beware.

Woo! Dr. Au rules! she is like the best ever! she makes music theory fun! and she is very entertaining. she's the only reason i showed up to class. and she tells the best stories. they're usually about her mother, or about her dog. yeah.

Excellent theory teacher; sometimes goes off onto rants (which are hilarious), but willing to answer questions in/out of class. Doesn't BS you and says when you'll never need to know something again or EXACTLY how to use the information. Great professor.
