Anyone who didn't like him or thought I was hard probably left class early. Don't take a 3 hour night class if you know you can't sit that long. Dr. H is the VP of a local economics research firm; who else would you want teach you economics? It should be an easy A as long as you do the homework and pay attention. I really enjoyed the class.

Those who are complaining about Dr. Hollenbeck are likely the ones who leave his classes early. (I get it... 3 hours is a long time). So long as you show up to class, do your work as assigned, and pay attention, you'll do just fine in his class. He is an economist, but that's exactly who you'd want to teach an econ class, right?

Yeah he's very boring in class, but if you get under a C on a test, he gives you a chance to bring up your grade from a DC to a C or D to DC. He gives you exams from "previous" semesters to study but they are pretty much the same thing but reworded differently. Problems sets are easy A's, so as long as you get C's or B's on exams your going to pass

This class was very hard to pay attention in. Whatever you do, don't take this professor only one day a week. He is monotone and boring, and its hard to keep awake in his class at all.

Very difficult class...this man is not a professor. He's a full time economist that lacks the public speaking skills to become a good professor. Nice guy, but come on

Hes not too bad. You have to do the problem sets. Make sure you really study the tests he gives you from the semster before, most are close to the same. you can bring a sheet to the test, so write down the essay question answers from the prev. semester test, at least one is the same.

You must do well on the Problem Sets!!! His lectures are straight from the book. If you read the chapters before class this class will be a lot more simple for you. He is monotone but it is not as bad as it seems the first class.

Pretty hard class. Wants you to realize the big picture among each chapter. Work hard on the problem sets cause they can ruin your grade if you do bad on them. Tests are long and hard but he will help you by giving the previous semester's exam before the actual test.
