Comment:

Have had her for 3 classes; she is one of the best teachers. She is definitely hard so if you want to slack, take someone else. You learn a lot in her courses. She has improved my writing style so much that I can breeze through all papers now and get A's. Grade policy IS fair; I have gotten an A 2x with her. You just have to work for it.

Many students mistake a "hard tacher" for someone who teaches difficult material. HW is an excellent teacher. Her expectations are very clear and fair. I consider myself a good student and I did get a B, but i slacked off in the end. She is very willing to meet with those who request her help, and, as a person, she is very nice and amiable.
