Comment:

Great professor and really really good guy. He has a strong command over the subject and knows accounting very well. HOWEVER, I would never take him again. The first test I took I got a sub-optimal grade and was never able to recover because he grades so tough. Either you get the exact answer or you get 10 points off. No way around it.

Comment:

Noorian is an all around good professor. Sometimes he can be unclear, and you must be ready to work, but he is always there for students, and wants them to do well. He updates you with your current grade, and he always has funny puns during lectures. All time favorite professor at WIT thus far. If he is available, I would try and take him.

Accounting hard in general ! He knows his stuff and he makes it easy to understand. Don't you ever miss any class other wise you would be lost. If there is a Finance major at WIT and he is the prof for all classes I would love switching to finance major. He is just GREAT ! ! !

Professor Noorian is the best teacher I've had so far at Wentworth. If he gives you advice listen to it because he is usually right. Sit in the front and the class will be really fun because you'll become interested and he can crack a joke.

Professor Noorian is the nicest guy at Wentworth, if you attend his class and actually pay attention you will love him. He cracks jokes all the time but knows his stuff too well. Great guy all around, if every professor in the world was like him I would absolutely love college. Highly recommended professor

Great teacher! Hilarious at times too. As long as you come to class, do the work, take the few notes he has you take, and do the examples, you will do just fine! He will continue to go over things that you don't understand if you need it to. Highly recommend him as a teacher, trust me!!!

This guy is the best. If you come to class, pay attention ,and do the homework the class will be a breeze. One of the best professors I've had and I will continue to take his classes. He is very funny too always has the class laughing. I highly recommend him as a teacher. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Great professor, the guy knows what he is talking about and will explain it to you until you understand it. DO THE HOMEWORK! If you do not commit to this class you will fail, pay attention and sit in the front and do what he says and you will get an A for sure. Not the easiest professor, but definitely one of the best.

Had him for financial accounting and financial management. He has a different teaching style but it worked great for me; all his problems are done out on the whiteboard. He won't move on until you feel comfortable with what you are doing. He is hilarious and very interested in what he is teaching. One of the best professors I have had at WIT.

First thing about this professor is he has an extreamly heavy acent .. i am used to heavy acents and was catching every 3rd word the man said.... he is all over the place on hte board and just randomly jots down facts . In the end you need teach your self the txt book 4 tests n its written in rocket scients.. 3 exams that make you write 10 essays

Dropped his class along with 9 others in my class. There are 3 exams and he doesnt really help. Not flexable at all. One girl in my class cant graduate unless passes his class and he wasnt willing to help her out. Unless you have taken financial accounting before dont take with him

Have fun! I did drop the class, but I am not saying he's a horrible person. He's not. He grades you on 3 exames 30% each and 10% participation. If you fail one test you are basically screwed! He teachers as if you already know the stuff and have a PHD in it. He goes so fast that it's hard to keep up with writing and understanding.

I'm kinda split on this guy because he obviously knows his stuff but hes not very good at teaching it. He has a thick accent so its hard to understand him a lot of the time. He moves very fast through the material itself & gets distracted easily. He doesnt take attendance, but if you miss class its hard to catch up.

Had his for 4 classes.He is HARD & plays favorites. He does know his stuuf but has problems in his teaching style, sometimes you don't get it,. He goes really fast and only grades you on 2 test & the final so if you **** up on 1 test your basically screwed.

I thought prof. noorian also works for CNN Fiance. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. Easy class as long as you practice your credit/debit balance sheet !!! Yup, sometimes he is late to class but overall a great professor!
