best professor ever! period! you should take him if you are willing to work and eager to learn. must participate or else he will call on you. be confident when you answer. for the portfolio, make sure to focus on presentation, he's not looking for lengthy justifications. make it pretty. each of his exams focus on one or two MAIN chapters

Comment:

Quiz every class, and exams are incredibly hard but he allows you to retake them. Very accessible outside of class and loves when people stay with him. Can be a hardo sometimes especially when he's in a bad mood. Tough class but great professor.

Kazemi was an awesome Professor and an even more awesome guy. He wanted to make sure you were engaged and fully appreciated what he was teaching you. With this being said, the course is hard. If you have never taken an Econ class before, this might not be the right professor and class for you. It is hard material, but he is a great teacher.

Kazemi is a great teacher that will explain something for a whole class to make sure everyone understands. If you are engaged and show you care, he will help you out a lot. Pop quizzes that he warns you about and long tests decide your grade. Study and you will do well. Also his stories are funny and help you understand the material.

The course requires full integrity and a lot of work. Be ready to read and participate in the lectures. Hard work pays : professor Kazemi always keeps you engaged and interested. He also has a great sense of humor. I've never had a better professor before.

Kazemi is an awesome. His lectures are very detailed and he uses great examples in class. He is so passionate about the subject and really cares about his students. I would definitely take him again. There is a quiz at the beginning of every class, but you know what is expected of you in order to pass. Also gives opportunities for bonus points!

Professor Kazemi is terrible. He targets the same students and calls them out in front of the whole class. Multiple people cried during class because of him. He doesn't let you leave to use the restroom. He gives you quizzes on things he has never brushed over before and expects you to know the material just from the book. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Great professor. You will know whats expected from you throughout the entire course. His exams are not hard if you keep up with the material and understand his lectures. Lectures go by quickly as he relates to real world experience. Highly recommended but must read if you want to do well. Also was intimidating the first few classes but nice after.

Kazemi pays no attention to a big class and his teaching style is confusing. When he teaches, his style is hard to follow and I often catch myself puzzled, in a daze, or trying to find what he says in the text.

This teacher gives excessive pop quizzes, and does not fully explain. He expects the attention to always be on him, saying that you must arrive 15 minutes early to his class, when he himself arrives late. The assistants did a better job at keeping the students interested or awake for that matter.

Brilliant Professor. He is strict and gives excessive pop quizzes, but you will walk out of his class a master of the topic. If you read and reread the textbook you can do really well. His tangents only enrich the material you are learning. Literally, the most interesting class I've ever taken.

DO NOT TAKE HIM. he teaches his classes like graduate classes. goes off on tangents about random stuff that is only slightly relevant. expects way too much from class participation and pop quizzes. also doesnt let you go to the bathroom or leave unless you are dying. literally the most ive ever struggled in a class because of the professor.
