One of the best profs I have ever had. I will never forget what I have learned in his classes. If one ever wants to take his existential course, you will not be the same person leaving it--for good or bad, its up to you. He truly cares about his students and will do everything he can to help you succeed.

Dr. Hopkins is awesome. I have taken one class with him and he always makes sure to say hi to me when we pass each other on campus. So nice and full of informational nuggets!

Dr. Hopkins is the best professor I have ever had. I took history 200A and 200B with him and Dr. . They are both awesome. Especially Dr. Hopkins his way of teaching makes students want to learn more. He is very enthusiastic about teaching. Thanks to him I see History different. I will be taking another history course evethough is not required.

Such an amusing and encouraging teacher. He obviously cares a lot about the students and he's got an extremely interesting lecture style. Goes off on tangents that are a little hard to understand sometimes, but overall just awesome.

Dr. Hopkins is the epitome of character and integrity. His dignity itself is enough to cover the milky way. He possess great intellect and wisdom and, if, he sees you as a "potential" he will be like fire and guide you to the gates, relentlessly. I have eternal respect for this man.

I abhor philosophy, but this counted towards my degree. Howard managed to make it easy to understand, and I took away a lot. Make sure to do the reading (for ANY of his classes) and ask questions. He is very kind and will help you to understand the material.
