I love Howard Sacks more than most people ever. He is one of the greatest professors you will ever have, except he is about to retire. Serious wealth of knowledge that he knows how to convey. Riveting participation heavy lectures. All of the information you learn is relevant to the class and ties back in, and all of it is relevant to LIFE.

Professor Sacks is an incredible teacher. He's a practitioner who's helped Kenyon bridge social theory and social action. I'm an alumna and am sad to see him getting slammed. I loved being a student of his. He had a profound impact on my learning and am proud of what he's helped the Kenyon community do.

Try writing a paper critiquing the tiniest aspect of any of his pet projects and see how intolerant he is...

I'm from rural central Ohio; the guy's an opportunist. Fine if you hang on his every word, but can't stand to be challenged.

He might be the best professor on campus. He actually presented comtemporary social theory in a way I understood... that takes talent. Awesome.

oh, he's challanging, but you will grow intellectually and personally in his classes, no doubt. listen to him! he's been there, and he knows what he's talking about. a real passion for his subject and a patience with his students, if you approach him.

The exploitation rating is naive. Sacks is one of the most insightful, creative and eloquent profs on campus. He's tough, but the intellectual rewards more than redeem the workload
