Mr skrill is the best proffesor ever! His studio art class is a lot of fun he gives you a lot of hands on work to do and if its nice out he will even take you outside to draw! His orentation in art class is a little bit harder as long as you pay attention and use the notes he gives in class on ur papers you will be fine

I took studio art which is a hands-on art making class. If your an artist or want to learn how to draw and paint better, this class is 100% worth taking! you can still get an easy A without having any artistic skill. Very fun and friendly person. Have not taken his art history class.

This class was such a disappointment. He expects you to know everything about art & the terminologies used meanwhile no one knows what he is saying half the time. He gives ridiculous homework assignments that take forever and is such a HARSH grader! DEFINITELY stay away from this professor, wish I had someone to give me the heads up. TRUST ME!!!!!

I've only been in this class for 3 weeks and I absolutely do not like it. I needed to take him for credit, but I highly recommend you don't take him. His lectures are extremely confusing and if you're not someone who likes to take art into depth, drop this class. He's an extremely tough grader and his lectures are boring.

Here's how this professor goes: no tests or quizzes, just 3-4 page papers on certain topics. Sounds easy right? Not at all; if you do not REDO the paper by a specific date (usually the end of that week) you get an automatic C on the paper. He is the toughest grader in the school and is just a weird person. This class WILL lower your GPA.

He's is an okay professor. Yes you need the book for class. If you take his class during the intersession then you really need to pay attention and do your work because he will call on you. He wants everyone's input in the class. To me it's an easy class but ( PAY ATTENTION)

Genuinely nice guy, very passionate about the subject matter. I recommend taking him during the intercession because we were able to interact more and he got to know us pretty well because of the small class size. It ended up being a pleasurable class.

Howard Skrill is the absolute worst professor of the entire college in my opinion. He gives so much work, doesn't even give you the grade you deserved for all the hard work you put into it, and he's always adjusting his pants in class. Do NOT take his class. He gave me a C- when I did all the work and got nothing lower than a B- on them. STAY AWAY!

I highly recomend that if anyone at St. Francis wants a high grade in this class to not take Professor Skrill. He is extremely boring and a very unfair grader. Having said that for what its worth I took him during a ten day class so it was not absolute torture to the extreme. However, he expects unheards amount of work to be done like itsnothing
