This class wasnt too bad...im not sure which section but it was the second required english class. It was stupid. She makes you go into groups and complete these unchallenging, time consuming, works of stupidity. I got a C in the class because I failed to turn in a research paper. Quizes are noted...skimmed through the chapter and always got A's.BS

Dr Hubnik's 1302 was extremely easy and she grades pretty fairly...she is very funny and easy going, laid back person. If you hate english and want to pass, take her!

Her Intro to Textual Class is a lot of fun. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and as long as you do your work and show up to class it could possibly be the best class you've ever taken.

I loved this class! i took it in the summer and she made the class managable. You will be reading for AT LEAST an hour every night, but class and lecture is entertaining and the gradeing is extremely fair. i'll be taking classes by her any time possible.

Hubnik's argumentative writing class is a waste of time. You'll end up doing projects entirely irrelevant to writing or English, such as her advertising project. Several times she has failed to show up to class, which was rather annoying.

If you're looking for an English or writing class, this is not it. What you learn is not even remotely relevant to academic writing, and the book is equally useless. She too heavily weights "peer editing," which makes no sense; my peers who learn the same useless information cannot possibly provide any useful feedback. But neither can she.

Horrible teacher. You work hard and earn an A, then she deducts 5 points per "unexcused" absence and you get a C. She's not too familiar with her subject either, as she referred to Ophelia, from Hamlet, as "Olivia."
