Prof Potter is highly recommended for Lab. Quizzes everytime the class meets which is once a week (just study his powerpoint slides in his websites, youll do fine). He drops the lowest quiz. His classes are very laid back.

Great Professor! He's tough but if you attend and write the essays and study for tests, the class is very fair. The lectures are very well presented with extra information and comparisons to make you understand the material.

Professor Potter is a great professor. He wants to see all of his students pass. He helps out as much as he can. He gives extra credit and drops the lowest test grade. He helped me out a lot this pass semester. I thought I was going to fail but be gave me a second chance. He's definitely a knowledgeable man. He knows his stuff and is able to teach

I took his class because it's required in my field, and I must say that his lectures will require your utmost attention but rightfully so, he is sensational. You wouldn't want to miss a word he says. He definitely knows his stuff and he has this charm to him that makes you feel like you're in kindergarten during reading time. I would recommend!

He wants you to write and memorize 3 essays for his first 3 exams and then he puts 1 on the test. They are very time consuming and without them most people would have done much better as they are very harshly graded. The retest and 4th exam were my best as there were no essays. I am happy i passed with a C but only about 60% of us passed!

Very tough professor, but nice and funny guy. Tests are very very hard. Questions are tricky. You can pass A&P if you study and pay attention in class. He offers a retake test and will drop your lowest grade. Recommend taking the retest test. It is worth taking it

This man is no joke, you must study a lot and take in as much as possible. His quizzes are tough, but his style of teaching is great; he tells great stories and gives examples about the topics which makes things easier to remember. Overall he's tough but a great professor to learn from to benefit you in the long run.

He is very helpful. He has his policies and will explain very clearly. Follow his handout and notes on the board. Study the areas he emphasizes as he teaches and you will be good. He has current knowledge of the subject. Talk to him and he will work with you any difficulty you have. he is even available outside of class if you need more help.

He is so NASTY at times.His test are very difficult!I personally study approx. 18-20 hrs a week for them and dont do well.Im a LPN and managed to pass state boards but barely can pass his class. I do not understand how anyone can say anything positive about him.IM NOT A SLACKER OR HAVE EXPECTED AN EASY A IN THIS CLASS,WOULD NEVER TAKE HIM AGAIN!!

Not willing to help in lab. Very rude and yells at the students if he is frustrated. Simply Nasty! Over talks and sometimes strays away from the relevant topic. His exam practicals are not always fair. Good luck if you get sick. If you don't care about your grades, then take him.

If I knew about this website before, I would have took this professor over Dunscombe for 105. Like most biology classes, you need to put forth an genuine effort to get a good grade. Don't just study from the handouts and the lecture, read the book too. Definitely one of the best biology professors in this college. I recommend Dr. Potter anytime!

I didn't have the intentions to get an easy A but if you do DON'T TAKE HIM. He doesn't teaches from the book. He teaches from his notes and what he writes on the board. And even that didn't make sense. He has a sense of humor but don't let that distract you. Take this class if you plan to be a doctor, if not pass. It's not worth the headaches.

Great teacher. Well liked, knowledgeable, professional and approachable. Easy to understand. Makes class interesting and keeps all students up to date with their grades. Always be on time for class and study and believe me you'll pass his classes with ease. I'd recommend him over Dunscombe any day!

Interesting guy..stubborn to the point being obnaxious sometimes, at the first time, probably to scare students a little bit, but good professor overall for lab 106. His tests are not easy, but at least he explains the material, the best part - the final is really easy.

By far one of, if not, the best professor @ UCC! Had him for BIO 105 & 106. Very thorough. He knows his stuff. Dont take him if u want an easy A. But if u really want to learn, he's the one u want! His exams come from his notes and the essays he makes u do. Very approachable!
