Mr. Lindner is awesome! Go to his office hours and get to know him in a one on one environment! If you get used to his logical explanations, you will excel. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Tests and exams are pulled straight from the homework. Highly recommend this prof.

Comment:

Lindner is a really great teacher. He is practical and attempts to apply what we are learning to real world experiences. He sometimes confuses what he is teaching and can mix students up a bit, but his class is overall good. I would recommend him to anyone.

Comment:

If you do your homework and prepare for the exams, then you will have no problem. I recommend for anyone who is prior military, he is clear in lecture and consistent in the material that he tested throughout the semester. The final was difficult, and I felt many problems were more complex than the knowledge that was tested during the exams.

Once you know what he expects you to do, then you are set. DO HOMEWORK, you use it for your quizzes. 3 Tests, 4 quizzes; no more than 10 problems each, so know how to do them by practicing the sections assigned. Go to class, and office hours. He records everything. If I could take him for every math class for the next four years I would.

Lindner is the worst math professor I've had in a while. He makes jokes that don't make sense, and come off as rude many times in class. Students get confused if he is teaching the class or trying to be funny. He can be unorganized, and doesn't follow the syllabus. While his homework quizzes are fairly easy, his tests are hard. BEWARE!

Mr. Lindner is the GREATEST professor I have ever had. He is more than willing to help you, if you are willing to help yourself. Go to his office hours and get to know him, not only as a professor, but as a person and you won't regret it. Take any of his classes any chance you get. You won't be disappointed. I love professor Lindner! I took his m162 and m200 and I got A's on both classes! He's willing to help you when you need it as long as you show him that you're giving an effort. Incredible professor and I would absolutely take his class again, no doubt!!!

Best math professor I've ever had in college. I've failed math courses and have an A in his class. Show up and pay attention, and he literally makes the material seem so easy. People don't like him because he doesn't put up with any BS, as he shouldn't, because we are in college. Take him for sure.

Mr. Lindner was my favorite math professor! He was crystal clear in all of his notes and his exams are not surprising if you study and do the hw! I would definitely take him again for any math course! Be professional and work because this is a college course!

Overall, the class wasn't too difficult and his reviews were just like his test. He, however, had an awful personality. He was very condescending and rude, and he made you feel like your questions were an inconvenience. Just make sure that if you take him, you approach him professionally because then he will show you respect.

I had him for MATH163(A+) and that course convinced me to take him for 200. He ONLY tests on material covered and reviews are identical (some problems literally) to the exam. Lessons are outlined and structured. Book work isn't necessary, but MyMathLab is required. Excellent professor in my opinion, recommended for prior military members.

If you want to learn calculus the right way then take it with Mr. Lindner. He does an awesome job recalling past information needed to know for the class, and really goes into depth to make sure you understand the subject. He was easily the best teacher I've ever had.

Nice but the class is more difficult then it should be. I'm a straight A student and this was the hardest class I have ever taken. I barely passed and wouldn't suggest taking M200 with him. Don't do it I tell you Don't do it! No extra credit offered even though he said he would offer extra credit. Very sarcastic too. Take someone else.

Hands down the best math teacher Ive ever had. He clarifies things and doesnt move on unless everyone understands. Loves to give extra help and tries hard so his students dont fail. Very fair though; you get out what you put in, he just guides you. Im not great at math and I love the subject now. He teaches in a way everyone can relate to. TAKE HIM

The tests are ridiculous. I studied for three days straight prior to the tests and failed every single one. The questions on the test are much more difficult than the questions on the homework and when I went to his office hours he told me he cant help me and to go home and study more. If you take him, prepare to make calculus your life.
