an amazing instructor with a great sense of humor. and he is incredibly interesting. at first i was skeptical because it seemed as though he had no desire to be teaching the class at all, but he turned out to be the most helpful teacher i have had so far. he gives plenty of feedback and he is always willing to spend extra time discussing one on one

He can seem intimidating to approach...he's kind of quiet and sarcastic. All this aside, when you do actually approach him he's a nice guy. Pay attention to what he says in class...not only will you be prepared for the tests, but if you get his humor you'll catch yourself enjoying the class. I loved most of the short stories he picked.
