Comment:
He's arrogant and stuck in his ways. He's very quirky and picky about both class participation answers and your paper submissions. 1, 2 page paper due every week about 3 long academic articles you've got to read. The class gets very repetitive and you'll cover tons of topics repeatedly in class. Tough class, tough prof.

He asks student to answer the questions, so you have to pay attention in class. No cell phone, no sleeping. There are 8 big questions for each exam, you have to remember the whole things that you've learned. But I really learn more in this class. He is a nice professor who want his student obtain more knowledge.

Although I thought this would be a class I would enjoy, being that it was online and only seven assignments. His homework was very confusing grade wise. He wanted a lot of info for an essay only a page long (5 Paragraphs). However he was great at responding to questions even though he was out of country for my class.

Yeboah was very enthusiastic about his content, interactive in his class, and passionate about his topic. However, he tests with three big exams, all completely essay, and eight questions each. If you do not basically copy the notes from lectures onto the test it is very difficult to get a higher grade. He does not like cell phones or sleeping!

He is a good lecturer but you will manage to be called on at least 2 times a week even tho its a huge class. He is somewhat of a bully in the fact that he picks on people, but really wants his students to learn. His assistant grades all exams which are all essays and he is a tough grader. Attendance is taken daily.

It is his first online course teaching experience and it is clear to say that he should never do it again. He has changed the format of the class multiple times because he doesn't actually know how a summer online class should work, and he expects you to know information you could only learn from attending a physical lecture of his.

Great teacher and a great guy. Best Miami Plan course I have ever taken. I highly recommend the class. Actually makes you want to attend class, and gets you interested in what he's teaching. He has a great sense of humor and is very approachable as well.

Yeboah is the man! I don't understand some of these negative reviews. There were no exams, but we had 10 one page papers over the course of the semester and they were very easy. He is very clear in class and makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. Yes he insults people from time to time but he's a funny guy. Take him!

I really liked his hands on teaching style. Doesn't use powerpoints which is a nice change. Entire class was papers no exams. He can be a tough grader but if you can write well you will do well. I got an A or A- on every paper. Also gave us a freebie for green beer day

hes a nice man and the class isnt too bad. you dont have any homework or writings its pretty much you just go to class and then take the exams. all the exams are just two essay questions. however, sometimes they can be difficult to answer but as long as you pay attention in class you should be fine. also, he takes attendance every day

Yeboah can be a great teacher at times, but he presents everything in black and white. He refuses to accept valid arguments or answers despite their accuracy if it's not what he wants to hear. Vague assignments with open answers are harshly graded. It's short papers but it's difficult to include all he wants within the assignments limits.

For people who want to work hard and think critically, Dr. Yeboah is great. Granted, my opinion is a little biased because I studied in Ghana, but don't let his 'arrogance' offend you. He's a proud man whose passionate about the subject he teaches. Be open to his teaching style and he'll accept you and your opinions. He encourages participation.

Yeboah is the man (his son was my Freshman roomate also). He absolutely knows what he is talking about and loves all of the subjects he teaches. Funny too, just as long as you aren't on the bad end of it. Go to class, take notes, do the reading and its an easy class. Get to know him, great guy.

Quite out of the ordinary and a little unconventional and sometimes offensive, but he got his point across and seemed to care alike many other professors. He enjoys being in the classroom and sharing what he knows.

Yeboah definitely has some arrogance about him. As far as teaching goes, I believe him to be a more than capable professor. He is challenging and aims to bring out the best in his students.

Openly insulting to students; believes that no one's opinion is valid aside from his own (and any African America male student's). His aim seems to be more "America is awful, Ghana is the best" than "All countries have something to offer". I received an A, but felt personally victimized several times during the semester, as a woman and an American.

Dr. Yeboah is a great professor! He made the class worth attending with his many jokes and interesting topics! Extremely helpful and understanding of students. A little bit cocky, but he's still a great guy! Homework only consists of reading (which is essential). Exams aren't that bad, as long as you study your notes. Great class for MP credit!

I think Dr. Yeboah is a great professor. My class is 2.5 hrs long and I don't dread attending, he uses his really upbeat and enthusiastic personality to make it fun! He literally knows everything so it makes his discussions really interesting. He always keeps the class laughing as well. This was a great class!
