Unless you are one of his favorites, he won't be kind or teach you very well. If you are naturally good at math, take his class. If not, he will bully you, make harsh stereotypes, and if you do not understand something be prepared to get criticized in front of the whole class about it or when you ask a question because he will.

Love it or hate it. Dr. K has a strong European influence in that, he is very involved and likes interaction. Unless you're a math major, or a would be engineer, this is not an easy class.

This class was so easy. Basically if you take and do good on all of the tests and quizzes(which are supper easy) you will pass this class. Although some people have a problem understanding him when he talks, I would recommend him to any one and take another class with him. Definitely need to do your work for this one, but what else would you expect of calc III? As user below said, can be intimidating, but a really, really nice and helpful guy if you are making a genuine attempt (not to mention his insane brilliance). I was actually sad to have the class end.

I had Professor K for College Algebra - a baby Gator subject if one were to compare it to the higher-level math classes he teaches. Perhaps this was the reasoning behind his seemingly inability to "teach down" for lack of better terms. However, he really wants each of his students to succeed. I just wish I could understand what he said more often.

The Russian Bear! This guy is out of sight. He is EXTREMELY deep with his stuff. He has a really "Ben Stein" sense of humor. Can be intimidating...but like a puppy..if you rub his belly he is friendly. Seriously good teacher for engineers or math majors.

Very good teacher, He has an accent but I got use to it. He will help out during office hours. But he has no patience for slacker students. So if you show up and do what you are suppose to do, like pay attention, take notes and do your homework then the class is not that hard.

Best teacher I have ever had. He does have a thick Ukranian accent and has his quirky mathematical jokes, but this guy knows his math. He spends some of his summer in moscow doing math research. Did come off as a lil intimidating, but took to me and my study group very well. Show that you want it, and he'll love you. A+'s in both classes. You can 2

I had Mr. Kryliouk for Calculus 3, and he was very helpful. It took a while to get used to his accent. He is very liberal with his grading, so as long as you make some sort of an effort, you should be fine. He likes to make comments on the american education system as well and they are pretty funny.

Good prof but sometimes difficult to understand since he is Ukrainian. Likes to go through proofs to explain where stuff comes from. Very interesting. If you slacked in Calc I and II you will not do well in Calc III so come prepared to work hard in his class if you did mediocre in Calc I and II.

HORRIBLE. You CANNOT get a worse teacher than this man. He is from Ukraine, doesn't speak English, tells you to AUTHOR rather than "offer" functions on your calculator. He dropped his calculator once and started petting it and apologizing to it. He can't teach and he's just not a nice person. HE'S TERRIBLE. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS! I'm SERIOUS.

Dont be supprised if he races through the material. Hes a really easy grader, but his explanations on classwork and homework are very hard to follow. His accent doenst help either. But the fact that I took him in Summer A probably didnt help the speed of his teaching.
