The course is terribly organized, there is essentially no syllabus and he wastes 3 hours of your time talking about anything and everything. Do not take this elective unless you have to. The course description is nothing like the actual course. You have to invent an idea and draft a patent, which is not what the course is supposed to be.

This class is completely different from anything I've ever taken before and it's awesome because of that. However, Prof. Altosaar has a huge ego (his own words), is very disorganized, and likes to create uncomfortable situations with his students.
