Any of you complaining about this professor should look into other majors. Once you get into any upper level class you'll realize you have not been trying. Kim is a easy professor with easy tests, if you can do the hw you can ace his exams. Get used to profs with accents. I had to take this class twice because I was lazy.. D- = forced repeat.

Lectures are from text. Tests are very easy, he tells you step by step how to solve the problem. His english is not that bad. If you do the homework and study the examples you'll do fine on the tests. Class is really not that hard. Just show up pay attention and you'll do fine.

Very difficult to understand. Lectures come straight from textbook and are not very helpful. The homework will help on the exams, but his grading can be rough when you don't do things exactly the way he expects.

His notes were pretty much verbatim from the book. There is no point in going to class. He doesn't go through enough problems, he doesn't really go over the homework, and then when test time comes, nobody knows how to do the problems.

Not a bad lecturer,but writes too small.Handouts lecture notes that are useful and detailed.Tests are not bad at all,and problems come from homework and lecture examples. Grades the tests based on your understanding of the solution process and not the final answer.Hes very willing to help students.
