while she will sometimes make you laugh by throwing out a random joke, overall I found her loud, difficult to talk to, and quick to anger, to almost hysterical and vindictive levels. A tough prof is good; unfortunately tough but fair does not describe her. Relies WAY to much on texts, to the point where I'm not sure what her instruction adds.

She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed and recognizes the lives of her students. This class was interesting but it was hard to stay awake a lot of the time. Lots of reading outside and inside of class.

She's one of the best teachers I've ever had. Not the easiest grader but her class will make you a better student. She is willing to help and is understanding. Attendance is mandatory but her lectures are interesting so there shouldn't be a reason to miss it. You must also do every assignment, it may be overwhelming but she will help you if needed.

She is a difficult teacher. She is convinced that a 85% is a great grade. She is incredible when it comes to feedback on essay's and she is willing to work with you. She assigns a ton of reading. You need to come to every class. She is a passionate professor but very hard.

Professor Tague is an amazing professor. While she is tough, she is also hilarious and informative. This was one of my favorite classes at DU. She gives you opportunities to improve your grade and do well if you are willing to work. I would definitely recommend.

She was pretty funny. Our class was on Jane Austen. There was a paper due every other week and a final project. She made it easy for you to get help if you needed it. Overall, she was a good teacher.

Tague is known for being a tough teacher. The tough part being that she has high expectations for students. She also assigns a lot of reading and writing assignments, but she is always willing to help you on papers. That's why her expectations are high because she offers anyone help and only a few take her up on the offer. She can really help you improve your writing. Her lectures are long but she manages to keep them interesting and she is aways making the class think. She's a great teacher
