Mr. Black is one of the best instructor that HCC will ever have. He retired after our class and I am going to miss him much. I made an easy A in this class. Very fun class. 3 speech presentation, no quiz, no exams. Attendance is mandatory. Just attend class on time and you will be fine. Thanks Mr. Black, you are truely the best.

Mr. Black is smart, charming, witty, funny, and has a very unique teaching style. He truly is a cut above many other professors! Amaaaazing Professor! All you really have to do is participate in class discussion and submit 6 essays on plays you've seen or read. Bring your drama book to class so you can follow along with him as he translates Shakespeare, but that's about it. Best morning class I've ever had.

Ira is a good teacher. As long as you don't miss a ton of class and make sure to talk in class it is an easy A. He does sometimes pick on people for being late or disrupting class. If you're sensitive don't take him. If not, you can joke back and talk back to him, he won't get mad. The format is open so we could talk about whatever we wanted.

Mr Black was a ton of fun for this class! He spent a lot of time lecturing, and there were no real assignments. Even though we didn't go over as many plays in class as he said we would, I still walked away from the class feeling like I learned something about theater. Take him!
