She is a extremely tough grader on your grammar. Even though you are excellent English writer, you will still be challenged. A class for "short story" is not really for short ones, be prepared to read around 50 pages every week. The biggest problem is when you receive the grade, you will see how much the grammar take on percentage. Have fun!

I took this class with Irene and really enjoyed it. She really took the time and care to mark my essays and point out what I could have done better. Whether it was about the idea I was trying to sculpt or grammatical errors I had made, she gave me great feedback. What I saw was a professor who cares for her students and wants to see them succeed.
