I was fortunate to take CS I and II, Topics in Advanced Computing, Topics in Advanced Mathematics, and Math Senior Seminar I and II with Professor Shablinsky. She is the by far the best Professor at Purchase. She is clearly dedicated to seeing her students succeed and possesses the ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable manner.

I had Professor Shablinsky for Computer Science I and II, and Topics in Advanced Computing. She is hands down one of the best teachers at Purchase. Her lectures give you a lot of useful information, and are fascinating. She gives informative, helpful, and timely feedback. She's always willing to work with students that put in the effort.

Shablinsky is a really good Professor and she surely knows a lot about the subject she is teaching. Sometimes it was hard to understand her because of her accent, and her instructions for assignments online weren't always clear. However, she is NOT a harsh grader and recognizes when a student is trying really hard to learn in class.

I took calc I and comp sci I simultaneously with her. She is a sweet person and passionate about her job. Comp sci was fun and straightforward, easy for me, Calc was slightly more difficult but only because of my ability, the curriculum was not aggressive. She is adorably whimsical and enjoys mushroom hunting.

She is a GREAT teacher, i have taken her for computer science and calc. Calc tests were hard but she is NOT out to get you at all. If you go to class and do the work you will do FINE especially in computer science. SO so fair great teacher highly recommend taking a class with her

She's a pretty cool prof. Lectures are a bit unclear, get the book, its really helpful. She will totally help you/give you answers in office hours. She is really nice, I've learned a lot! But if you don't care about comp sci, dont even bother.

Professor Shablinsky made what could have potentially been a terrible experience for me such a wonderful one. She was easily accessible and took time to make sure every student was on the same page and understood the material. It was a pleasure to have had her. I strongly recommend you take her course. You won't regret it!

I took CQI with Shablinksy and I loved her! I think it's awesome that she is so accomplished in a male-dominated field, and makes her lectures accessible to arts students who may have had bad experiences w/ math. 5/5!!!
