I've seen many MOOC courses in Computer Architecture, but his class is best compared to many MOOC. His attention to detail is at a different level, he explains every tiny quark associated with the topic. Be attentive in class and ask questions. Exams are pretty hard (Open book), if you have done homework & review on your own then you'll be fine.

That professor is e~~vil,his lecture never make sense and he yells at people when they can't give the right answer to questions in class.he give very HARD homework and exam, the first midterm average is 45.He was alredy telling us what to do in case we fail the class before the final and even during the final exam! bottom line ..DON'T TAKE THIS CL

Awful. Class averages in 40s, low even for ECE. Reschedules lectures to fit into his own schedule regardless of time blocks. Lectures put the class to sleep. The homework isn't reflected in the least when it comes to exams. Rude and incomprehensible. Grading is sporadic, not on time, and not standardized. Koren just doesn't care. STAY AWAY!

I agree with all of the comments above! Worst teacher ever! (possibly in all colleges!) I don't know how he is still around with such bad teaching style and horrible grading scheme! Does NOT care about students at all and makes tests impossible to do well in. Students should not take this class!

Without a doubt the worst professor I have ever had; including all my graduate and undergraduate professors. Horrible lectures, very hard to understand, extremely boring and monotone. Simply reads the slides like a robot and makes illegible scribles on them with the PowerPoint pen Extrememly unfair grading practices; simply does not care at
