I took her last semester, her tests were all online and difficult. She was so nice, but I thought the class was hard. The tests got a lot easier towards the end of the semester and I ended up with a good grade, but a lot of people dropped the class. She also has a lot of extra credit which is great! and really helped me out.

Great teacher! She was funny and interesting and willing to explain herself if we didn't understand something. She had fun group assignments and did everything she could to make lecture interesting. Highly recommend her for any class.

I took it as an online class in summer. Very fast! 3 research papers, 7 tests and discussions. Pretty easy as long as you read the book. She responds very quickly and grades right away. Awesome teacher! All you need to know is in the syllubus! Great class!

LOVED THIS CLASS.. She makes it very fun to learn, and tells us what will be on the test. Sometimes there are a couple questions that are not said on there, but overall it was a very easy class. Write letters to family members, instead of essays! Take her!! Extra Credit all the time!

GREAT TEACHER! I totally recommend this teacher, she has actual lifetime experience in her subject and is very open-minded. There is writing involved and it's not an easy A. Tests are difficult. ...And to Ivonne, sorry for the miscommunication. I know you probably think i didn't like your course (based on the letter about defense mechanisms).

Uses a weighted grading system, which sucks. I should have had an A in the class, but with her grading method I got a B. Has a lot of class activities which counts for 15% of grade. Uses power point lectures prepared by the book publisher. Tests are all scenario based so can be a little difficult. A little hard to understand due to accent.

Dr. Tjoe Fat is a very interesting teacher. Her class was never too boring, I learned numerous things and I'm glad I chose her as a teacher. I thought her tests were pretty difficult taking a 60 question test in 40 min, so I always went to her office and took them. Very understanding with anything and tries to help you. Not much homework at all

She is helpful, and she expects that you ask her for assistance if you need it. She loves to travel, and likes class participation, so I strongly suggest that you participate! She has some very funny stories, too! She does have some outdated tests; she kept throwing out answers in our class. I respect her and would take classes with her again!!

I have found her to be a great teacher. She uses the textbook a great deal for her tests, and she goes over the material in class. She also provides opportunity for ex credit. I learned an enormous amount, and really enjoyed the life and travel experiences she brings to the classroom.
