I mainly agree with everyone here, but I would add one thing, which makes me rate him neutrally: His foul language and liberal bias eventually got old. But, if you only take him for ten weeks, there won't be time for that to happen, and so he's pretty good.

Great teacher...his accent makes him even more charming...always willing to help outside of class..and improved my writing a great deal. Class flew by with all the laughter that was going on...Take this class..work hard and reap the benefits..
